INTER MONITORING AQUILANI FOR PRIMAVERA ROLE
Italian giants Inter Milan are reportedly monitoring Florentine Primavera coach Alberto Aquilani with the hope of making the former Italian national team player their Primavera coach in the nearest future. The report from FCInternews said that Alberto Aquilaniis a strong target for the Inter Milan Primavera coaching role.
Apart from Inter Milan, AS Roma are also interested in Alberto Aquilani. The newly crowned UEFA Europa Conference League winners want Aquilani as a replacement for Alberto De Rossi who will leave the club after 19 years. De Rossi has been at the Italian capital club since 1993.
AC Milan have also been mentioned as admirers of Aquilani, but they are behind city rivals Inter Milan and AS Roma as officials want someone who played for the club. Aquilani didn't play for the Rossoneri during his time in the Italian Serie A. He played for Florentine, AS Roma and others. For Inter Milan, they have Christian Chivu who became a coach with the Nerazzuri on the back of spending the final years of his career as a professional footballer at the club. Inter could still have their heads turned with the option of making a move for Aquilani despite the presence of Chivu who spent the best part of his professional football career at the San Siro. He was part of the Inter Milan team who won the treble in 2010. It was an unprecedented feat in Italian football.
